‘Prime Minister’ Madhav Kumar Nepal participated in a safety drill called, ‘duck, cover and hold’ during a program marking the 13th earthquake safety day at Basantpur.
A siren was played by Radio Nepal at 2:30 where everyone had to participate in the drill. It was supposed to be a practice run to prepare for safety during an earthquake. Kathmandu is at high risk after the Haiti earthquake. That’s what they said during the program.
I hope these kinds of drills will be organized where everyone can participate, not just Ministers.
