Ramji Dahal of FNJ gets injured as the police barged into the journalists during their protest at Maitighar, Kathmandu

The two pictures are taken on the same day, Monday, December 22, 2008. There was protest staged by Federation of National Journalist against the attack on Himal Media on Sunday. Journalists protested, Police barged the protest and a journalist was injured. But at the same time our Prime Minister was busy lighting ‘panas’ and inaugurating the third inauguration of South Asian Free Media Association (what an irony) and doing bla bla bla. There is new constitution to be written in the country, but our PM, always busy attaining programmes, inaugurating festivals. There is strike everyday, people being killed and kidnapped everyday in terai, but our pm stills lights up panas, receives peace award (recently he was awarded Dr. dilli raman regmi peace award). Thats why nepalese people made you the PM, just to inaugurate festivals, programme and light up PANAS. First PM of GANATANTRA NEPAL or GUN-TANTRA NEPAL, PANAS MINISTER not PRIME MINISTER.

    Or may be not!

Fuck, there should be Ministry of Inaugurations, Lighting Panas and Cutting Ribbon under the Prime Minister’s office.

    How pathetic!!

  2. Bj Says:

the irony was he was inaugurating the third anniversary of South Asian Free Media Association while at the same time, the journalists in ktm were being hit by the police.
